Temporary Food Establishments: A Special Food Topic (virtual training)
This training will focus on food establishments that operate at a location for a limited amount of time, but are not mobile. Venues that commonly feature non-permanent food operations include farmers markets, fairs, carnivals, civic events, restaurant food shows, fundraisers, races, parades, and holiday celebrations. Local boards of health (LBOH) should identify all events and markets that have non-permanent food vendors in their community and work in partnership with operators and event/market coordinators to ensure safe food handling practices and compliance with all applicable Massachusetts food regulations.
